What is RSS?

What is ‘Andy’s Blog’

Regular rants, raves, ideas and recommendations on creating a competitive business. They are published on Andy’s website and will provide you with short, sharp bursts of stimulation, motivation, help and news. As a minimum they provoke a thought, a reaction or a smile, their aim is to provoke ACTION.

How can I read it?

You need to utilise RSS. This is an easy way for you to keep updated automatically on websites you like.

Instead of having to go to the websites to see if they’ve written a new article or feature, you can use RSS (short for ‘Really Simple Syndication’) to get them to tell you every time they have something new.

It saves time and effort and keeps you regularly updated and ‘on the ball’.

How can I make use of RSS?

Basically, you need to get a News Reader.

It displays all the RSS information feeds you subscribe to from your chosen websites.

All you do is click on a small desktop icon, and it highlights the latest feeds all in one place!

In otherwords, one click of a button instantly shows you the updates on your favourite websites without checking them individually

How do I get a Newsreader?

There are a range of newsreaders available – many are free on the internet.

We use BLOGLINES which seems to work very well. It’s simple and easy to use.
