Tommy Hilfiger European Store Managers Conference

Andy helped the international retailer Tommy Hilfiger’s leaders and managers ‘Think in 3D’! as part of their European Store Managers Conference. It was all about exploring ways to differentiate themselves by creating ‘Dramatically and Demonstrably Different’ customer experiences! Andy challenged his audience of store managers from all over Europe to identify ways to create ‘delighted’ customers and maximise their team’s performance by establishing a culture that supported this. A key message was about them acting as ‘role models’ when it came to 3D Thinking!

Institute Of Sales and Marketing Management ‘Successful Selling’ Conference

Andy spoke to an audience of forward thinking sales and marketing professionals on proactively developing relationships with their customers. He challenged them to identify their ‘best’ customers and focus their efforts on them, establish ‘how easy they were to buy from’ and remove the barriers to great customer service in their business. It was also about creating consistently great customer experiences and proactively identifying and maximising opportunities with those customers.

The Association Of National Specialist Colleges Annual Conference

Andy gave a keynote presentation on the role of the leader to an audience of principals and leaders of special colleges from across the UK. He highlighted how ‘remarkable’ leaders establish a clear vision, get commitment to that vision, engage their people and develop teams of committed, motivated and effective people at every level of the organisation. He also encouraged participants to identify what they needed to do to maximise their own leadership performance, and that of their people!

Creating ‘Devoted’ Clients!

UNITAS National Conference

This was a keynote speech to the members of UNITAS, The National Alliance Of Independent Brokers. It was all about going the ‘extra’ mile to create ‘delighted’ clients, and building on this consistently to create ‘Devoted’ clients. Andy provided tools and techniques to help delegates practively build on this to develop ongoing trusted relationships, identify and maximise opportunities and ultimately maximise loyalty and financial returns with their clients.

Ronseal Sales Managers Conference

A stimulating full day session with successful sales managers of Ronseal helping them look at maximising their performance ‘out in the field’. Andy worked with the managers to explore the opportunities that existed in their ‘territories’, and how to maximise these opportunities. It was all about developing proactive approaches to building on the successful relationships with their customers and reinforcing the quality of their successful brand and products.

Gateshead College Staff Conference

Andy hosted and facilitated the staff conference for Gateshead College, one of The Sunday Times ‘Best Places To Work’!  The event involved over 400 staff and included sessions that helped them shape the values of the college and identify the key factors of success for developing the culture and creating a great ‘customer experience’ for students and visitors.

Andy designed and delivered a participative half day workshop with the managers of this award winning, forward thinking business. He introduced the principles of innovation – the successful exploitation of new ideas and encouraged the team to identify areas of the business that they could impact on by providing them with tools and techniques that they could use. A ‘get together’ to feedback on progress 3 weeks later highlighted impressive results in a wide range of business areas from a team of individuals who really ‘made things happen’.

Spread over 4 months, this is a series of linked half day workshops on topics such as ‘Getting That Vision Thing’, Maximising People Performance, Standing Out From Your Competitors, Making Your Marketing Work and Improving Your Own Leadership Performance. This was an interactive session with real customer service practitioners at an Institute Of Customer Service Event in conjunction with the award winning business Westfield Health. Andy highlighted how ‘remarkable’ businesses create and establish a culture that differentiates them in the market place. It was about establishing a culture that puts customers on the top of the agenda and keeps it there, that ensures leaders act as role models and that champions the customer champions in every level of the business. Using one of Andy’s assessment toolkits participants identified how their organisation ‘measured up’ and established their own key areas for focus for improvement.
