23Jan More Than’ just a number?

The Guardian has reported that the Insurer More Than.. have announced that all their customers will now have a dedicated account manager at their call centre in response to customer frustrations of anonymity and being passed round different departments.

It seems a positive move.

It will be interesting to see if customers become More Than happy with the results.

18Jan 40 FREE ideas!

In December we held a highly successful event for business leaders in Tees Valley called Playing To Win. We produced a simple handout for participants to take away which contained 40 ideas for action.

17Jan Chaos at the Check in?

The Budget Airlines are up in arms about the extra tax that has to be paid on flights after February 1st. They’re threatening to stop people flying if they don’t pay, even though they have already paid their fares. I know some people have had ‘strongly worded’ emails about this, but there does appear to be some ‘vagueness’ about we must pay, or they ‘would like us’ to pay. Even when you offer to pay, some arent ‘easy’ to do business with.

04Jan 2007 -New Year, New Ideas!

Away on holiday in Portugal at the moment, but back in the UK from January 9th.

Really looking forward to a great new year with lots of new ideas (and some old ones!). There’s plenty happening in 2007. Look out for a redesigned website, a new book, a video, and ‘Andy’s Blog’, regular rants and raves on competitiveness and how businesses get and stay ahead.
