Why Do Your Customers Buy?
Here’s a great podcast from John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing (a great website and blog by the way). It’s an interview with Martin Lindstrom, author of ‘Buyology – Why We Really Buy’.
It’s an insight into a $7 million research study on what influences customers to choose and buy, and there’s some fascinating stuff in there.
It’s about:
- ’standing out’
- creating something ‘worth talking about’
- daring to be different, and
- appealing to all your customers’ senses.
The key points for me are centred around how you ‘demonstrate’ your ‘dramatic difference’ can often be the little things that customers feel, touch and hear, not just read or see.
