Tony Sets The Tone!

It’s obvious stuff – we know that people make the difference. This was reinforced for me after staying in the Beamish Hall Hotel near Durham on Wednesday night for an event I was doing there yesterday. We’d arrived late at this lovely hotel set out in the country side, and didn’t meet many staff that eveining apart from the receptionist who was very nice.

Breakfast time was a totally different experience. Tony, the restaurant manager was fabulous! Pleasant, smiling, caring and upbeat (but not too over the top – just right!). He set the tone for the restaurant and the hotel as a whole. You could argue ”Big Deal,
